Seussical Auditions

About the Show

This summer CCT’s YouTheatre Ensembles are joining forces for a single production of Seussical!

"Seussical" is more than just a musical; it's a journey through the vibrant lands of the Jungle of Nool, the dazzling Circus McGurkus, and the tiny, unseen world of the Whos. Watch as Horton discovers a speck of dust harboring the tiny Whos and vows to protect them against all odds, all while facing the challenge of guarding an abandoned egg. Through trials and tribulations, the themes of friendship, loyalty, and community shine through, brought to life by a cast of characters as diverse and colorful as Seuss's stories themselves.

This production isn't just for the audience; it's an open invitation for performers of all ages to dive into the imaginative world of Dr. Seuss. With roles that span the whimsical spectrum of Seuss's universe, actors have the chance to explore a range of emotions and stories!

An added twist includes an alternate orchestration for a female Cat in the Hat, ensuring that "Seussical" is a musical that embraces diversity and innovation in its casting and performance. Whether you're a budding actor, a behind-the-scenes magician, or someone who cherishes the timeless stories of Dr. Seuss, "Seussical" offers a unique opportunity to be part of a production that celebrates the joy of imagination, the strength of community, and the unbreakable bonds of friendship.
