About the Show

Step into the colorful world of Ezra Jack Keats in The Snowy Day and Other Stories, a warm and imaginative celebration of childhood, friendship, and discovery.

Follow Peter and his friends as they explore snowy streets, face everyday adventures, and find wonder in the world around them. Inspired by Keats’ beloved stories and iconic illustrations, this playful production brings his characters to life through music, movement, and humor.

Produced by Columbia Children’s Theatre in partnership with NiA Theatre Company, this Mainstage production is performed by professional actors for young audiences and their families. It is a welcoming first theatre experience and a joyful celebration of imagination, community, and the magic of childhood.

Showtimes & Pricing

Admission is $8.00 per student. One free adult ticket is provided for every ten students in attendance. Reservations require a minimum of 10 tickets. Performances will be held at Richland Library Sandhills (763 Fashion Dr, Columbia, SC 29223).
