About the Show

Director: Cathy Brookshire

Once upon a summer evening, four young lovers flee into The Woods, only to discover strange things happen there! With a forest full of fantastical fairies, a truly terrible troop of actors, this is a play of enchantment and an insightful portrait of the predicaments of love. There’s magic, mayhem and mistaken identity - all caused by “that shrewd and knavish sprite” Puck—and for a while, the whole world is thrown out of joint. But what fun to join in the dream, knowing lives will be transformed in wonderful ways, and by daylight all will be well. Roles will be doubled, songs sung, music played.
