About the Show

In this exciting adaptation of Disney's The Little Mermaid, audiences will be transported to an enchanting undersea world filled with adventure and wonder!


Ariel, a young mermaid who dreams of exploring the world above the waves. When she falls in love with a human prince, she makes a daring deal with the sea witch Ursula to become human herself. But as Ariel navigates this new world, she discovers that the price of her transformation may be higher than she ever could have imagined.


Featuring beloved songs like "Part of Your World" and "Under the Sea," this production is sure to delight audiences of all ages. With vibrant costumes, stunning sets, and a talented cast of performers, The Little Mermaid is a must-see for anyone who loves theatre, Disney, or simply a good story. Tickets to CCT's Summer Show are $15. Seating is general admission.

At Columbia Children’s Theatre we keep the prices as low as possible so more young people can have access to the transformative power of live theatre. We stand by that decision, but it means that program fees like tickets, registrations, and classes cover just 70% of the revenue needed to run the organization. For the remaining 30% we depend on our community.

    This summer we are asking each cast member to ask 10 friends to donate $10 (or more) to support the show! Cast members who reach their $100 goal will recieve a free t-shirt from CCT!

    They’ll have the option to “Dedicate This Gift,” so let them know to dedicate it to you! You can also collect cash or checks. Just make sure they put your name on any checks you collect.

    This summer you have a chance to add your name to a piece of the summer show magic!

Safety Procedures

In accordance with the latest masking guidelines from the CDCwe are lifting our mask requirement for summer camps, rehearsals, and performances. 


If you or your child are more comfortable with mask usage or you are at higher risk of severe consequences from a Covid-19 infection, please continue to mask. Additionally, if your child is exposed to COVID-19, please have them wear a mask for a total of 10 days following the first day of exposure; anyone who is NOT fully vaccinated and who has been directly exposed should be kept home from camp/rehearsal for five days.


If your child is exhibiting symptoms or tests positive for the virus, please keep them home from camp/rehearsal.
