2025 Fall Mainstage Auditions

What You Need to Know

CCT is happy to announce Mainstage Auditions for our 21st season’s fall productions! We were founded as a professional theatre for young audiences (TYA) that uses paid adult actors to perform for families, young audiences, and school groups.

Who: Auditions are open to any adults and teens who will be 15 years old by August 2025.

Where: The Brookland Lakeview Empowerment Center in West Columbia (1218 Batchelor St, West Columbia, SC 29169)

When: Sunday, June 22nd, 2025 @ 3-5pm or June 23rd, 2025 @6-8pm

Auditions are drop-in style so you may attend at any time during those hours. **Please plan on being there at least 15 minutes before the end time.**

Audition Requirements

Please complete this Google Form noting which shows you are interested in/available for.
Please prepare 24-32 bars of a Broadway-style song sung a cappella
You may also be asked to read sides from each show during the audition
If you have a headshot and resume, please bring hard copies to your audition.

**If you are unable to make an in-person audition, please submit the Google Form and send a video recording of your song selection and a 60-second contemporary comedic monologue to jerry@columbiachildrenstheatre.com by June 23rd.

Generally, rehearsals run weeknights from 6pm-9pm 5 weeks prior to opening. Pay is between $25 and $50 per show depending on experience and show location.
