AUDITIONS FOR
Disney's Beauty & the Beast Jr.
for grades 1-12
Monday & Tuesday, December 5 & 6 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Columbia Children's Theatre at Richland Mall

You only need to attend one audition session.

Please prepare 16 bars of a song to be sung a capella or bring a CD with accompaniment. You will also be taught a short selection from the show to sing in small groups.

Actors auditioning for principal/speaking roles will be asked to read from the script.

Come dressed comfortably to move: everone will be taught a simple choreography combination, and given the opportunity to demonstrate any special skills such as tap, gymnastics, etc.

Production dates are February 2-5, 2012. A few rehearsals will be held before the holiday break, then resume on January 2. Rehearsal days and times will vary depending upon role and actor conflicts. There can be no conflicts between January 28 and February 5.

The production will be directed by CCT Artistic Director Jerry Stevenson and choreographed by Dedra Daniels Mount. Musical direction will be by Dianne Palmer-Quay.
