The Commedia Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty Poster THUMBWritten & Directed by Jerry Stevenson
Based on the traditional fairy tale

Summer is here, and that means the Spaghetti and Meatball Players are back for more shenanigans! Join Columbine, Rosetta, Pantalone, Punchin, and Arlequino as they present the tale of Sleeping Beauty like you’ve never seen before. This original adaptation is performed in the traditional style of commedia dell’arte, a largely improvisational style of street theatre originating in 16th century Italy. With lots of physical comedy, audience interaction, jokes, and surprises, this hilarious “fractured fairy tale” will delight children and adults of all ages!
