Class Voice
Mondays, Jan. 22nd – Mar. 26th
4:30 – 5:45
Ages 9-18

CCT Artistic Director and voice teacher Jerry Stevenson will lead this group class which focuses on breath control and support, proper tonal formation and placement, and song interpretation. The class will culminate with a recital with students from his CCT’s private voice studio on March 29th.

Tuition:  $200 for the 10 week session.

KidStage
Mondays, Jan. 22nd – Mar. 26th
4:30 – 5:45
Ages 7-13

KidStage, an intensive theatre “bootcamp” is designed to give aspiring young performers the opportunity to work on a production in a professional training environment. Each session includes training in pantomime, vocal & physical characterization, musical theatre movement, acting and design, addressing the rehearsal and production process from audition through strike. KidStage culminates in a production with costumes, lighting and sets performed in front of a live audience on the last day of class!

Theatrical Tap
Tuesdays, Jan. 23rd – Mar. 27th
4:00-5:30
Ages 9-18

Theatrical Tap is a 10 week crash course in basic to advanced tap (depending on the student’s level) designed for upper elementary through high school aged students seeking to learn the fundamental techniques of tap to enhance their “castability” and expand their skills for the stage. We will divide this group into 2 – 40 minutes classes. During the 1st week of class we will place students in a class that fits their individual learning style.  Both classes are taught by master tap teacher Lisa Sendler (Anything Goes, Zombie Prom, Hairspray, Shrek, Bugsy Malone, etc) each class will include a short showcase of student work on the final day.

Adult Tap
Tuesdays, Jan. 23rd – Mar. 27th

Ages 19-99

Adult Tap is a 10 week crash course in basic tap designed for adults seeking to dabble in this classic art form. We will learn the fundamental techniques of tap, laugh, and enjoy learning together.  Instructor: Lisa Sendler              

Tuition: $75 for the 10 week session.

Advanced Acting – The Articulate Body
Wednesdays, Jan. 24th- Mar. 28th
4:30 – 5:45
Ages 14-18

Taught by classically-trained actor and American Academy of Dramatic Art graduate Julian Deleon this advanced level acting class is designed for the young actor wanting to delve more deeply into acting technique and character development.  We will be focusing on Suzuki and Alexander and will touch on Laban. Students will apply these techniques in line readings from Greek Plays and a showcase of techniques.

Tuition: $200 for the 10 week session.

Steps & Stages
Thursdays, Jan. 25th- Mar. 29th
4:30 – 5:45
Ages 7-18

5, 6, 7, 8!  Get ready to dance in this 10-week class designed to teach the basics of musical movement for the stage.  Taught by theater dance veteran and family physician Rachel Brown and using music from the most popular Broadway shows, students will learn the basic dance and stage terminology used in musical theater as well as be introduced to the fundamentals of the most common theater dance styles—ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, Latin, swing, and Broadway or performance dance.  Our final class will showcase our students’ new moves in a routine that features each of the ways stage dance can help tell the stories of the stage.

Tuition: $200 for the 10 week session.

Private Voice Instruction
Weekdays, Jan. 22nd- Mar. 29th
Available times vary
Ages 9-18

CCT Artistic Director Jerry Stevenson and CCT Artist/voice teacher Courtney Reasoner will offer private voice lessons. Each lesson is 45 minutes long and will focus on breath control and support, proper tonal formation and placement, and song interpretation.  We will have a recital March 29th.
