2017-18 Season Auditions

Come be part of an amazing organization that gives many children from across the state their first magical experience with the performing arts! CCT, the Midlands’ only professional theatre for families and young audiences will hold auditions for its 2017-2018 Season on:

Sunday, May 14, at 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Monday, May 15, at 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

 

CCT’s 2017-18 Season includes:  A Year with Frog & Toad, Best Christmas Pageant Ever (a new musical), Junie B Jones is Not a Crook, Miss Nelson Has a Field Day, and The Commedia Emperor’s New Groove. 

We will also be casting for our touring productions of Pinocchio, Stone Soup, Part Time Dog and seeking replacements for Romeo and Juliet. 

WHO: Male and female actors age 15 – adult 

WHERE: Our theatre is located on the second floor of Richland Mall (3400 Forest Drive). Parking is available in the garage on Level 2-L. Click here for directions.

Audition Requirements:

  • Auditions will be drop-in style so you may come at any time during the two hour slot. 
  • Please bring your current head shot and resume.  
  • Prepare 16-24 bars of a Broadway-style song to be sung a capella.  We may ask you to vocalize with piano. 
  • We will do cold readings from next season’s scripts.
  • A monologue is not required but if you’d like to do one that is performance-ready please feel free.
