2014-15 Season Auditions

10-years-v1Be a part of our 10th Anniversary Season!

Thursday, June 5, at 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, June 8, at 3:00 p.m. 

WHO: Male and female actors age 15 – adult

WHERE: Our theater on the second floor of Richland Mall (3400 Forest Drive). Parking is available in the garage on Level 2-L. Click here for directions.

HOW: Please prepare a 1-minute comedic monologue and 16 – 24 bars of any Broadway song to be sung a cappella. We may ask you to vocalize with piano.

You may be asked to read short sides from the season’s shows which include: How I Became a Pirate (musical, mid-September), Jack Frost (musical, early December), Bunnicula (musical, mid-February), Skippyjon Jones in Cirque de Olé (musical, mid-April), and The Commedia Snow White (non-musical, mid-June).

All positions are paid with limited rehearsals and understudies are cast when necessary. If you need more convincing, read Artistic Director Jerry Stevenson’s thoughts on why performing for kids is awesome.

    • Hi Lewis! Thanks for your interest in auditioning. Our MainStage season auditions will be held again next spring, probably late May or early June. We will be holding auditions for more YouTheatre productions in the late summer and early winter. Those dates will be posted as soon as we know when they are.
